A few years ago, I sat down to explain on video why I started writing.  I also discussed my inspirations for my first novel, Under the Burning Moon.

Although several years have passed since then, my passion for writing has not wavered.  In fact, I’ve come to understand what an important role it continues to play in my life.  Put simply, when I’m not writing I’m a bit of a mess.  Exploring fictitious worlds allows me to express themes and feelings I can’t widely discuss in real life, making for a wonderful, creative kind of therapy.

I love that I’m a writer.  I love the strength and confidence and pride it instills in me.
